We repair both antique and modern grandfather, wall, and mantel clocks.   Appointments for in-home service can be scheduled at a time most convenient for you.   We will be happy to set up your clock and explain proper care and maintenance.   Free pick up and delivery of clock repairs is available in the northern Allegheny County area.  If you are south of Pittsburgh, you may want to visit our booth at the Antique Center Of Strabane which is located south of Pittsburgh in Canonsburg, PA.  Clock repairs are accepted at the store during their normal business hours.

The complete overhaul process for any clock, modern or new, consists of the following.  First the clock movement will be removed from the case.  The movement will then be inspected for signs of wear or damage.  Any problems will be documented along with the condition of the clock.  The movement is then completely disassembled and put in an ultrasonic cleaner using a special solution to clean each individual part.  All of the pivots are then polished; bushings put in where needed; and all other repairs are performed.  The movement is then reassembled, oiled, and all necessary adjustments made.  The movement is then timed and watched to make sure everything is operating correctly.  The movement will then be placed back in the case fully assembled and watched for a week.  If everything is functioning properly the overhaul process is complete.
